Dr.It's been 6 months since I had c3 to c6 lamino plasty surgery. Will the numbness in my feet and hands go away? And why is my shoulder stiff near the surgery? Is this normal?
I thought there would be a video after that intro....also the invented or the rice method no longer believes in icing ( the I part)
My husband had radiotherapy his larynx with pain on swallowing and inability to get adequate nutrition. Other than this, he was low-normal weight had NO health issues. The cancer centre dietician was just utterly stupid: so embedded in the low fat dogma that the smoothie recipes she gave him were based on skimmed milk and he would have had to consume HUGE quantities. I made whole milk/cream/whey protein powder/frozen fruit versions and made soft scrambled eggs or pureed soups with cream and butter added. We didn't return to see her.
My daughter is 14. Her growth plates are still open so the patellar graft is not yet an option. The surgeon recommends doing a hamstring graft now rather than wait approx a year until the growth plates close and the patellar is possible. Would people advise waiting or going ahead now? She was playing top level sports for her age when she got the injury 6 weeks ago.
Playing 4+ consistent hours of basketball for 5 consecutive days after a long time did this to me. I'm just 19 and I have to deal with long-term injuries. Damn it!
Top reasons to not call them. They actually work for the insurance companies. They get kickbacks for selling you drugs. They know more about pharmacology and supressing synptoms rather than healing/treating the issue.
I did my morning walk 7 month in recovery just despair does wear off a little realizing that not i am the same anymore in strength things are brand new sothe good side things i fret over over by my gait at tje same time f... i walking though only attitude i can have

Today I have taken ECHO , everything is normal but It shows that there is low probability of pulmonary hypertension. I wanna know what it means.
Watching this made my brain hurt 😭
iam baluku sinai from Uganda I I have my sister who is suffering from lumber spine stenoss we did CT scan to confirm it at Nsambya hospital in kampala after this the doctor who would do laminectomy asked for 5000 USD dolas to do it .can't u make a program and u come here in Uganda and help people on some subsidized prices that poor people here in Africa can manege
Surgeons are sent by god.
Amazing Dra. Farrah.
Es hereditario las enfermedades coronarias
Is titanium mesh as strong as skull? It appears more permeable so I'm curious if that requires special care indefinitely, like being particularly sensitive to head trauma from a car accident or the like. Not a patient or medical professional, just a curious layperson.
I am African, Liberia had a a stroke in may of 2023 can speak now but can't write. My right leg is not too prefect in walking
Reason #1 : Not eating vegetables and vegetable juices. Those who have colon cancer hated vegetables Reason #2: high inflammation in the body due to eating excessive meat products over the period of a long time. Solution.: eat raw vegetables fiber , drink green leafy vegetable juice and skip meat and find other sources of protein. Behind most cancer there is inflammation due to acidic food. Remember the pH scale
Can i make it my cardio? Please reply
Home the next day!!!!!! I'd want to stay at least overnight! Nice work Doc. None of the skull material removed was usable I guess. Will the missing bone / skull grow over or together in time?. You made it look easy! BRAVO
😊
That was so cool!
absolutely incredible
I just had this done four days ago and I'm looking forward to getting back to normal in a couple of months. Thank you to all of the unsung heros, (doctors / nurses) that can do this type of work as you are a special breed.
Why does my leg hurt, doc??? I fell on my knee hard yesterday, but my leg hurts now?
Well done Shah! Thanks for sharing
I love love love this lecture this Q&A ladies very informative . Please make more on the last developments of pulmonary hypertension
Go threw all that and no blockages at all crazy

Severe leg pain top of leg sore to walk .?compression stocking so hard to put on...diffuse large b cell & diabetes
Somehow I think I need this
Congrats on the negative result. I know how amazing that feels, I had about 4 positive clops. So positive for hpv and precancerous cells for over 2 years. I've been negative for 3 years now.... I hope yours continues staying negative.#DrApala...
I did my 4 and 5 laminectomy, had aLot of pain after for 4 days then they sent me to rehab in another wing of the hospital.every thing went ok .they sent me home and on my 4th day of being home I got a nerve and muscle spasm worst pain ever, went back to the hospital stay for 11 days was so afraid to cough or even move my right leg .oh how i endure pain. They gave me nerve pills, muscle relaxer, and pertisec.. by the 10th day it was actually going away ...so they sent me home ...anyway I still get muscle spasm and some times I feel glass behind my heel when I get the spasm ....and I only feel those pain when i am laying down especially if I did alot of walking that day ..I can walk ten blocks now which I could not of done with the stenosis......i am so happy for that but I don't look forward when I have to lay down however research said to eat alot of banana and other stuff that put potassium in ur body which actually calm the muscles. I am going to try to eat a banana last thing at night to see if it works🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Here's my experience about TAVR, IT DOES NOT WORK.... People die shortly after the surgery.
When do you decide to use a Ecmo machine on a patient that has scar tissue but no dianosis
Could you recommend a specialist for MGUS? My physicians aren't giving me antibiotics information.
I have to disagree on some of the food. During the 1st month, you need to avoid any seafood, beef and egg. Stick to chicken and pork.
